Atlus spoils us once more with The Dark Spire special edition

Lovely Atlus is once again treating its loyal fans, by offering a free soundtrack in a special boxed edition of The Dark Spire, one of its many forthcoming DS RPGs.
The hyper-stylised role-player has two themes - one contemporary (though based on 16-bit western RPGs) and one retro (which has an even more old-school look), and so, rather appropriately, has the soundtrack. There are twenty four tracks in total - the same twelve in duplicate, as each tune is arranged for both styles.
If you fancy a quick listen, then click here. The reason for all this generosity? Well, I’ll leave it to Atlus to explain…
“”Our census data indicates that given the choice between only a game, and a better-packaged game with a free bonus soundtrack, a significant number of our fans seem to prefer getting free extras. Hopefully, we’re actually reading the data correctly this time, unlike that study on whether or not our fans enjoyed bonus live scorpions with their games. We really blew it on that one, and we apologize to those affected.”
Terrific stuff. The Dark Spire will be available in the US on April 14th.
