Three lined up for Wii from Capcom in Q1

Capcom today announced its line-up for the first quarter of 2009, with three titles likely to be of interest to Nintendo fans.

On 27th February, NeoPets Puzzle Adventure is coming to both DS and Wii. One for the casual crowd, this puzzler, based on the Nickelodeon property of the same name, offers over 150 quests to get your teeth into.

A more surprising Wii announcement comes in the form of MotoGP. The pretty-damn-hardcore bike racer might well have a few of its tougher edges smoothed over a little, with players using the remote as a set of handlebars. Could go either way really. It’s out in March.

Biggest and best of all is the February release of Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop. With a potty Japanese trailer (above) and some substantial changes not only to gameplay but to the game’s controversial structure and save system, this could well be the zombie-splatter Wii owners are looking for - and perhaps the definitive version of the game for those who found the timing-based approach to the 360 original a little too restrictive. Sure, the undead will attack in their dozens rather than their hundreds, but thwacking them with a baseball bat will be that much more satisfying with motion controls. Already announced for a late January release Stateside, it’s coming to Europe on 27th February.
