When I found out Atlus was releasing a special art book to accompany pre-orders of DS RPG sequel Luminous Arc 2, I immediately put the above headline on standby, only to discover that that’s what they’re calling the sodding thing. Damn you, Atlus!

But I can’t stay mad for long, because it’s yet another delightful treat from Atlus to its loyal fans. It’s possible Rising Star Games, with their publishing of niche titles like No More Heroes or the forthcoming Muramasa: The Demon Blade, might become the European equivalent of Atlus, but there’s a long way to go before Rising Star can provide the level of fan service that this excellent US company regularly doles out.

Lovely, lovely Atlus, and lovely, lovely art stuff. I’ll be checking every import retailer in the land to see if I can get my grubby mitts on this, not least because Luminous Arc was a curiously and unfairly-overlooked little role-player and I’m very much looking forward to another dose.
