Let’s Go To The Shops - why Labelle is Animal Crossing’s new Tom Nook
 
A vid up on the official Japanese site for Animal Crossing: Let’s Go To The City shows the new boutique owned by Gracie Grace, the giraffe fashionista who used to make you wash her car in the original game. It’s run by Labelle, a well to-do hedgehog who clearly cares not for the poverty of her seamstress sisters Mable and Sable, and who doesn’t balk at charging 80,000 bells for a bed which looks a bit like a cake.
Could raccoon mogul Tom Nook have a serious rival in the moneymaking stakes? Appears so. I guess we’ll all find out more when Animal Crossing arrives this November or December, depending on which part of the world you live in.
