One of the more bizarre quirks about this here blog is the fact that a seemingly minor post about Harvest Moon Wii seems to have sparked this corner of the internet into life, attracting more comments than we’d normally get in a couple of weeks. Evidently, teh Moon has some seriously hardcore farming fans, all hoping to get stuck into more hoeing than Snoop Dogg and Santa Claus put together.

Anyway, I’m happy to report that the game IS apparently coming out - in the US, at least. It’s due for release on August 26th from Natsume, and it’s been rated by the ESRB, which surely means it’s not going to slip any further. It’s been given a rating of E for Everyone, with a note for ‘alcohol reference’ and ‘comic mischief’. Tree of Tranquility was pretty impenetrable upon its Japanese release, and was plagued by excessive load times. Here’s hoping that’s been sorted for its western release, as it otherwise seems a pretty fully-featured Moon, and has a nice art style to it.
