Guitar Hero: On Tour - tracklist revealed
ÂÂ
This is either going to be amazing or a bit rubbish. Guitar Hero DS is a triumph of hatstand creativity over common sense, coming with a peripheral that’s so daft it has to be seen to be believed, and some gloriously silly DS extras like blowing to extinguish flames in Battle mode.
The final tracklisting has been revealed, and while it’s generally very good, fifteen songs is a little less than we were hoping for. Unlockables, perhaps? Future tracks via DLC? Could happen. But that’s four fewer songs than Elite Beat Agents/Ouendan 2, and this doesn’t have people doing funny dances to pop music on the bottom screen. Still exciting though. List after the jump.
Do What You Want - OK Go
All The Small Things - Blink 182
Spiderwebs - No Doubt
Are You Gonna Be My Girl - Jet
We’re Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sister
All Star - Smash Mouth
Breed - Nirvana
Jessie’s Girl - Rick Springfield
Hit Me With Your Best Shot - Pat Benatar
This Love - Maroon 5
Heaven - Los Lonely Boys
Helicopter - Bloc Party
China Grove - The Doobie Brothers
Rock and Roll All Nite - KISS (cover by Line 6)
What I Want - Daughtry
First thought: Daughtry who?
Second thought: This Love? *facepalms*
Third thought: Breed? GET IN. Guitar Hero: On Tour is out this summer.

FFS! I loves me some Jessie’s Girl and all, but come on. Just because the DS doesn’t have the kick some of the other systems have doesn’t mean that it should get the proverbial “short-bus” of set lists.

Apparently there are hidden tracks. Which is obviously good news.
Maroon 5, though? Cripes.

What does “hatstand creativity” mean? I googled it, and this post is the first result!

‘Hatstand’ means mad, basically. Not sure where you’re from, Jon, but it’s a very British term.
