Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword gutting and dismembering DS in June
The original DS take on Ninja Gaiden has been blessed with a UK release date, thanks to rapidly growing publishing powerhouse Ubisoft. The game hasn’t exactly set the charts on fire in Japan, although US reviews have been largely positive - hovering around the 9/10 mark.
Which is exactly what you’d expect from Team NINJA. Team NINJA always delivers. So long as you don’t count the bizarre Beach Volleyball series, which is a criminal way for such a talented bunch of developers to spend/waste their time. Just thinking about them all making Beach Volleyball when they could be doing Ninja Gaiden stuff is getting me MAD right now!
No particular part of June has been identified. But with the Xbox 360 version of Ninja Gaiden II sure to be generating headlines thanks to its ludicrous bloodthirsty action when that arrives during the first week of June, we wouldn’t be surprised if Ubisoft cleverly ensures the mini NG hits alongside the 360 game for additional marketing brownie points.
