Japanese Club Nintendo members get SNES-style Classic Controllers (Europe loses out again)

A limited edition Classic Controller in the form of a Super Famicom (SNES) pad, or a 2CD official Mario Galaxy soundtrack set? This is the terrible dilemma facing Japan’s Club Nintendo Platinum members (those members who amassed more than 400 Club Nintendo points during the past year). I’ve ended up going for the Classic Controller, even though it obviously won’t be compatible with N64 Virtual Console games, as it’s modeled on one of the best digital pads ever designed. And, of course, for bragging rights.
If you’ve never considered Club Nintendo a big factor in your loyalty to the Big N, well, we can hardly blame you. What great treasures has Nintendo of Europe ever handed out freely to Nintendo fans? Here in Japan, on the other hand, we get all kinds of brilliant stuff in return for simply entering codes (which are enclosed with every new Nintendo product) on our account pages at the Japanese Club Nintendo website; the limited edition Classic Controller and Mario Galaxy soundtrack are just the latest gifts.
Over the course of the past two years or so, I’ve received three Club Nintendo-exclusive full DS games, a TV remote that looks like a Wii Remote, a pack of Animal Crossing playing cards, two Mario-branded DS console cases, a Mario family figurine set, two Nintendo soundtrack CDs, Mario towels, and multicoloured DS touchpens. And that’s just the stuff that springs readily to mind.
The question is, then: why doesn’t Europe get the same excellent treatment? Is there some practical reason, or is it just because Nintendo of Europe is a bit stingy?

Europeans and the rest of the world!
The sad thing is, Wii is selling like water on the desert all over the world, and looks like they don´t care about ahhh… the rest of the world!

You can apparently pre-order one here >> http://global.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.aspx/code-j/section-games/pid-1005129923/
No idea of how many they’ll get in, or indeed whether that date is accurate. But I really want one.
