Who wants to be a millionaire? - Oversaturated quiz provides million-selling Nintendo games headline

A recent Nintendo investor briefing gave Nintendo the opportunity to hitch their braces and swagger smugly round the office. They’ve released a list of all the first party Wii and DS Nintendo titles that sold over a million copies. And you may or may not be surprised to hear that Nintendogs tops the lot with an astonishing 15.7 million. Its closest rival, the hardy Pokemon Diamond/Pearl jogs in comparatively close behind at 12.1 million.

Even the hyper-kinetic kicking game Mario Strikers Charged managed to get in there. We’re not entirely sure how, but we remember it being a slow couple of months around the time of its release. Slow enough for 1.3 million people, presumably. Apart from that, though, there’s not that much in the way of controversy. All are good, dependable titles, that generally appeal to a wide-ranging age bracket. Nintendo’s obviously onto something with this brain games, too, if you ask us.
