Vii are not amused: more pics of console and games
Gor blimey, this Vii thing refuses to go away. Some intrepid bloggers in China got their hands on one and placed it alongside the Wii for some amusing pictures. It looks pretty damn ugly, if you don’t mind us saying. If these images are anything to go by, imitation is not the sincerest form of flattery.
Ah, but the fun doesn’t end there. We’ve also managed to procure images of the games available for the Vii, check ‘em out after the jump. At first glance, the Vii doesn’t appear to have any equivalent of the Mii avatars; that would be too obvious. Instead they’ve been replaced with a pair of white dogs (we think), one being short and fat and the other being tall and skinny. A cheeky nod to Mario and Luigi, perhaps?
The library is totally derivative of the most the popular casual games - Wii Sports, Cooking Mama, Boogie, etc - but one title in particular caught our eye. It’s called Come On, and it seems to involve seals being lured ashore for some unknown purpose. Could the Chinese have developed a seal-clubbing game using the motion-sensitive controller? The world is just crying out for that one.

FAO WiiWii editorial: Whats with all the comments that are just copys of the article linking to another blog? Its annoying. I wanna read comments made by real people, not a copy and paste made by a computer.

Hi Dani,
I share your annoyance with comments that are just linking to another blog. They’re called pingbacks, and I’ve now tweaked the site settings so we don’t get them anymore.
Cheers,
B

Thanks Bulent!
It been really bugging be the past week. It totally messes up with the recent comments list.
Anyway, back to the Vii… if I see one, i may just get it. At £62, its not exactly breaking the ‘lets buy something stupid’ bank
