Star Soldier R WiiWare looking shiny
Hudson has released a few early screenshots of Star Soldier R, which it will be pushing as WiiWare early next year. It’s looking pretty swish already, but it maintains the chintzy sci-fi qualities of the 8-bit original (which can be downloaded from the Virtual Console, by the way). There are no Star Soldier R gameplay details at this stage — and we’re not even sure what the ‘R’ stands for — but we’re more than happy to see WiiWare become a base for new shmup projects such as this. WiiWare opens up another door for game developers to create more interesting Wii games for us. Star Soldier R is one of the masterpiece. Graphic is fantastic! The only thing is that the length of the game is too short.
