In my limited time with a 360, by far the best game that I played on it was Geometry Wars. It’s a fantastically simple game that looks great and has all the elements to keep you coming back for more. I was happy to see that Wii and DS versions were being developed, and as the release dates comes closer, the awareness campaign steps up a notch.

Vivendi Games have managed to combine Geometry Wars with lolcats, the cute cat craze which is sweeping across t’Internet like wild fire. There’s a dedicated site with a few GW Lolcats for you to embed on your own sites. Put that together with an interesting trailer, and you’re onto a winner.
