Silver DS headed to Europe
There were rumours last month, but today Nintendo officially announced that Europe would be getting a new, shiny silver edition of the DS Lite. From 12th October 2007, potential DS owners will be able to add the silver version to the list of white, black, and pink consoles. It’s perfect for scaring away vampires and werewolves whilst playing Castlevania, or for tricking your gullible mates that you’re rich enough carry a bar of the precious metal around with you. Well, I doubt the console will actually be that shiny, if the silver SP is anything to go by, and it’ll probably be more of a grey DS if anything. Still, it’s a nice addition to the set, and sure to add numbers to the 14 million DS consoles already sold in Europe.
