We wish that Namco Bandai would make their bloody minds up. One minute Beautiful Katamari is doing the multiplatform dance, then it’s going solo with the Xbox 360 (with the possibility of a Wii version later on), and today Namco’s official website is hinting that it’s going to be multiplatform after all. Confused? You will be.

Don’t bother looking at the site to check for yourselves, because the information has since been “corrected” by a panic-sticken web monkey who realised his job was on the line. But luckily we’ve found a screengrab that proves we weren’t imagining things. If you squint at the little red rectangle you can make out the three consoles underneath the heading marked “platforms”.

So, will they or won’t they? Does anyone even care anymore? We’re growing pretty tired of all this dithering. Together with the second-rate Me and My Katamari on the PSP and a lacklustre demo on Xbox Live, it all adds up to to a textbook example of creative mismanagement.
