If you feel that Virtual Console games on your Wii aren’t quite authentic enough, this mod should give you a twitch in the nostalgia pants.

It’s a Nintendo Wii squeezed into the shell of a Nintendo Entertainment System, tricked out with LEDs and more besides. If you were to load up a Virtual Console game on this set-up, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were playing on the real deal.

We predict a slew of copycat mods after this. Keep your eyes peeled for a Wii shoehorned into the form-factor of the SNES, N64, GC, etc. Maybe even, for that extra whiff of controversy, a Wii stuffed in into the shell of an old PlayStation?
