Picross DS competition winners announced
Last month we reported that Nintendo of Europe were running a Picross DS competition, inviting European players to submit their most prized puzzles direct to the company. The best and most blocktastic creations would be selected and made available for download over a Nintendo Wi-Fi connection.
Well, the wait is over and the winners have now been chosen. There are two - count ‘em, two - puzzle packs made available for free. Better be quick though, since they’ll only be around until the 7th September. After that point we’re guessing you’ll have to pay for the privilege, which kind of sucks if you’re one of the lucky few whose puzzle was picked for inclusion.
But wait, there’s more. From the 10-14th of September, Ninty will be giving Europe an even bigger dose of Love (with a capital L): players wil be able to download winning puzzles from a similar competition that took place in Japan. If you’re a Picross fan, get ready for a veritable deluge of choice new challenges.
