Nintendo announce Capcom double

Zack and Wiki

Nintendo of Europe have picked up two cracking Capcom titles for the Wii and DS. For Wii owners, Zack & Wik: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure will be published by Nintendo on 7th December, and DS owners can look forward to the next instalment in the Phoenix Wright series, Ace Attorney Apollo Justice.

The hype around Zack & Wiki is spreading like wild fire, with several blogs urging people not to ignore it. It has a great cell-shaded style, and its story involves pirates. Pirates! That’s me sold straight away. The Wii Remote is used to manipulate over 80 objects in order to solve puzzles in a quest that takes you through 7 different worlds. Nintendo boasts over 30 hours of gameplay, and I can’t wait to pick this title up.

Although no release details have been given about Apollo Justice, it’s sure to be another great addition to the series, especially as it’s the first to be developed specifically with the DS in mind. You will probably have noticed that Phoenix has disappeared from the title, and there is a new lead character. It’ll be interesting to see if they make any other changes to the winning formula.
