505 Games announced today that they are bringing the popular cooking game Cooking Mama back for another portion. Imaginatively entitled Cooking Mama 2 (although I’m sure this will not be its final name), the game will feature exclusively on both the Wii and DS consoles.

The game hopes to improve on its predecessor with new recipes to challenge wannabe chefs, along with a new “cook-off” style multiplayer game, and (what the Wii really needs) twice as many mini games as before! Although it may not appeal to all, you can’t help but like the way the game takes advantage of the Wii and DS’s unique controls.

The games will be dished up in early 2008, so if you need some kitchen action, but can’t be faffed with all that, y’know, proper cooking lark, start saving those pennies.
