This week’s VC update - Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting, Metroid and Silent Debuggers

Another bumper collection of classics arrive on the European VC scene, with new Street Fighters, a classic Metroid and random PC Engine/TurboGrafx game of the week Silent Debuggers.

Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting you should already know about. It’s the SF game that tweaked the series to perfection in the eyes of many, upping the speed and adding the usual minor few extra moves. It’s the SNES version here on VC, and it’s 800 points.

Metroid you should also already know about. It’s Metroid. The NES version and the official debut of sexy space killer Samus. She didn’t look particularly sexy in rubbish NES graphics, but then it’s what’s left to the imagination that’s the key. We imagine she’s not wearing anything underneath. For 500 points you might get to find out.

Then there’s Silent Debuggers, which you probably don’t know anything about as it’s this week’s old NEC console wildcard release. It’s a rather creaky old first-person shooter from Data East. It’s for the hardcore.
