Third Parties very interested in Wii Board
With the introduction of Wii Fit, the new fitness title just unveiled at E3 2007 it seems that Nintendo’s dream of widening the gaming net is about to become a real reality!
Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed that third party developers are very excited by the prospect of utilising the new Wii Balance Board in software projects but also and possibly even more exciting for Nintendo is that people from the health and medical industries have also been in touch to seek information on how the product can be integrated into rehabilitation scenarios.
This would obviously open up the Nintendo Wii to an absolutely huge number of people. The medical and health possibilities of the Wii have always been open for discussion and now it seems that people are buying in wholesale to the Wii ethos of active participation!
