Wii Blaster on the way
A new shooter accessory for your wiimote would seem to be on the way if a listing that turned up over on Gamestop.com is anything to go by. Called the Wii Blaster there’s unfortunately no images of the product yet, but a post over at Joystiq is hinting that the Blaster may look and function a little like the work-in-progress Wii Zapper (pictured) that was seen at E3 some time back. With games like Resident Evil and Ultimate Duck Hunting on the way this could be just the unnecessary expense we gamers have all been waiting for.

[...] Coming soon for Nintendo Wii by Joytech is the Sharp Shooter, an awesome-looking controller attachment that will convert your wiimote and nunchuk into a gun for use with all those shooters on the consoles horizon. No release date yet but I’d personally expect it to ship in time for Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles at the latest, the two seem perfectly suited.
