Mario Strikers now to be first online

Mario Strikers on WiiWiiAll this “(insert game name here) will be the first online Wii game!” back-and-forth is starting to make my head hurt. First it was it was a race between Mortal Kombat or Blazing Angels, then we accepted that it would be Pokemon Battle Revolution, now this. According to a recent press statement: “you really can compete in a world cup, thanks to the multi-player mode via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Service. Make sure you’re wearing your team colours as Mario Strikers: Charged Football kicks off across Europe on Wii on 25th May 2007″. Forgive me for saying that I’ll believe it when I see it. You can read the whole press release, should you wish, right here.

How fun was it. I remember, when I was a kid we used to play Super Mario in a multi-player, I can’t believe now it is on line. I missed playing Super Mario, but now that it’s back and through on line, I’m not gonna miss it. How great Wi-Fi is.
