3D Mii sculptures
Here at WiiWii we’ve brought you news of all the crazy custom Wii stuff the Internet has brought us over the last few months (need some proof?). Well, none of those other things we’ve spoke of amount to anything compared to this. THIS is where it’s at folks. Sculptor Paul Thiel recently made a figure of a friend’s mii as a Christmas gift (left) but then soon realised — as the forums of the web were set ablaze with excitement — that there was a market for this kind of stuff.
Problem is there’s just too damn much of a market. The man can’t keep up. At the time of writing he is auctioning a limited number of the custom figurines on eBay. Perhaps in future there will be a chance for us all to get one. There must be a company out there with the resources to take all our orders and create these — and if you’re reading can I be first? It would be a money-making machine! I’m scared to think how much the auctions will go for in the end. Silly money no doubt. Source. [JC]

There must be a company out there with the resources to take all our orders and create these … It would be a money-making machine!” Funny then that back then I didn’t notice MiiSculptures.com. On the site are pictures of their product dating back to December ‘06! What is their product? Well, it’s custom figurines made to look like any mii you choose, silly. [...]
