Riverfold Software has released the latest version (2.1.1) of its Wii Transfer software, which lets you stream MP3s and JPG images from your Mac to your Wii via the Internet channel.

The app lets you see album covers while playing music, convert movies to play in the Wii’s Photo channel, turns iTunes video podcasts into files your Wii can play, and automatically backs up your Wii saved game files onto your Mac.

There’s a free demo version on the company’s website, and the full thing costs $9 until the end of January.
