Is There A Third-Party Wiimote Coming Soon From MadCatz?

Surprisingly enough, this is the first third-party Wiimote rumour we’ve heard of since the Wii launched last December - is anyone else as shocked as I am? I thought every gamer and their cousin’s postman would be gagging to invent their very own hand-candy. But no, leave it up to MadCatz to invent one, but whether it turns up to be as crap as the rest of their third-party controllers is as yet undecided. An employee at Walmart mentioned the shipment he received of the controllers, over on the Game Trailers forum, but there has been no further news on the subject.
