So you may think you’ve got it bad here in the UK when it comes to Wii peripheral prices (£29.99 for the wiimote alone) but you don’t realise just how lucky you are. Over in Kuwait (okay it’s a bit of a walk away, but work with me here) prices of Wii consoles and accessories have officially reached crazy levels.

Yes for the meagre sum of only $155 (US) you can pick yourself up a single wiimote. Need a nunchuck to go with that? That’ll be another $155 please.

It’s insane. In fact, you’re actually cheaper buying a US Wii (that’s the whole console, controllers included) than you are buying the two controllers separately in Kuwait! All of a sudden that £30 price tag over here doesn’t seem quite so steep… And don’t even ask me how much their actual Wii consoles are ($1,034!!!). Via Kotaku. [JC]
