Super Monkey Ball goes mobile

Super Monkey Ball mobile gameSega’s monkeys are taking over the universe! Mobile publisher Glu Mobile has just announced a new game called Super Monkey Ball Tip’n Tilt, which will be hitting phones in January.

It involves guiding those monkeys through 2D platform levels by tilting the platforms left and right, ensuring they pick up loads of bananas along the way to the exit.

But here’s the Wii link: apparently Sega loved the game idea so much, they included it in Wii Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz as a minigame. I can’t check this, as I don’t have a copy yet, but if you do, post a comment to let us know!

yeah its a minigame included in the wii version, its a pretty seriously good idea with the wiimote Id have to say, bad idea on a phone though.

I wouldn’t knock it before you’ve played it. It’s just come out and plays way better than the Wii version. It also has loads of levels, far more than on the console…
